Our Process

TELLING YOUR STORY

We are passionate about our craft.

We believe in efficiency and strong communication.

We believe in developing honest and effective client relationships.

1. RESEARCH & CONSULT
1. RESEARCH & CONSULT

The initial step in the commencement of a project is establishing our client communication. We gather all information on the proposed project: target audience, style requests, and scientific details. We confirm science and medicine with expert consultants and our in-house doctor. We then disseminate this information among our team for a unified and accurate client vision.

2. STORYBOARDS
2. STORYBOARDS

Our client is provided a storyboard, which helps visualize the storyline of the animation. The narrative, timing, and camera angles can all be established quickly. Additionally, various style examples may be provided to help the client decide which direction to push the look and feel.

3. ASSET CREATION
3. ASSET CREATION

After the storyboard is approval, the creation of assets begin. This process involves modeling and applying textures to 3D objects and their respective environments. The client will likely be asked to approve these key elements before they are animated.

4. ANIMATION
4. ANIMATION

The client is presented with an ``animatic``; a rough unlit animation, for review. This allows for a clear understanding of timing, element interaction and motion. The sound track (or a rough track) will be included in the animatic to verify the events match the voice over.

5. EFFECTS & GRAPHICS
5. EFFECTS & GRAPHICS

After the client approves the animation they will be presented with test renders of various frames to approve the final lighting style. The footage is then rendered and combined with all non-3d elements such as motion graphics and special effects. This phase is the ``compositing`` stage, in which a complex series of embellishments bring the footage to life.

6. POST PRODUCTION
6. POST PRODUCTION

The final stage of production involves small adjustments, final editing and sound mastering. The final format is then delivered in any format, high resolution or encoded, according client requests and intended applications
